Yumihari No Oka Hotel Review: One of the Best Family Hotels in Sasebo, Japan
Introduction – Why We Chose Yumihari No Oka Hotel
Yumihari No Oka Hotel was a complete surprise for me. My husband booked this hotel as part of my birthday celebration, and I had no idea where we were going until we arrived. From the first moment, I understood why he chose it.

Our Personal Experience – Views, Pool & a Relaxed Stay
The hotel is located high above Sasebo, offering panoramic views over the city, the navy base, and the famous 99 Islands. The peaceful atmosphere makes you slow down instantly.
The highlight of our stay was the pool, especially during sunset. Watching the sky change colors from this elevation was truly special.
Breakfast was about 6 out of 10 for us. There wasn’t much international selection, and the variety was limited, but it was okay overall.

Rooms, Comfort & Overall Feel
The hotel has a classic, typical Japanese style, rooms on smaller side ,slightly old-school Japanese resort feel. Rooms are clean, practical, basic level for families. The real luxury here is the view and the location rather than modern amenities.

This hotel works very well for families with kids. There is a pool, open space, and a quiet environment that feels safe and relaxed. Stuff are nice and welcoming.
